The Hidden Map

Many families in Champaign-Urbana are surrounded by valuable programs, enrichment opportunities, academic supports, and youth development resources, but don’t always know how to access them, qualify for them, or advocate effectively within systems. This interactive workshop equips parents and caregivers with practical tools to: (1) Identify local academic, recreational, and enrichment opportunities; (2) Navigate school and university-based systems confidently; (3) Advocate effectively for their child’s needs (4) Build relationships that open doors. Families will leave with a clearer understanding of available community resources and a concrete action plan tailored to their youth.
My Approach
What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.
